Some people fall out of trees, I fell into them. As a very young man, ready to take on the world, I found myself discovering the world of Arboriculture. Who knew where this journey would take me?
What does it take to work in this industry? I think it is a place for people that care, not only about one another, but also about the planet and one of our biggest natural assets, the land, and the trees.
During my career of over 22 years, I have been lucky enough to be part of some of the best companies England and Australia has to offer. Over the 11 years, I have been privileged enough to call Australia home, I have met and married my beautiful wife, had 3 boys and a girl and have been lucky enough to have travelled, experienced, and seen places in Australia that I will never forget.
In 2014 Leona and I decided that one day we would run our own family tree company. Fast forward to 2022 and that dream is now our reality. Our Family business Hayes Tree Care is committed to providing excellence in the arboriculture and horticulture to residents and businesses in the Rockingham and Peel area.
The landscape and natural environment are humanity’s greatest assets, and it is our vision at Hayes Tree Care to protect, maintain and live in harmony with these.

11 years ago, I embarked on my next big adventure, to travel Australia and New Zealand. I landed here in Perth. A month in and I met an English Arborist, where my life involving trees began. I’m a hairstylist by trade and Nick assures me that cutting trees is like cutting hair.
Our dream of running our family-owned tree-care business is here with my husband, and our three boys and a girl, making the dream work.
